Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born 12 November 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was first gymnast to score a perfect 10 in an Olympic occasion. Bela Karrolyi, an Romanian gymnastics teacher who was later Comaneci's coach and first became aware of Comaneci aged six. Her first competition was in The National Junior Championships which she was 13th place in the year 1969. In 1970, Comaneci was crowned champion. At her first international event in 1972 a pre-Olympic junior competition for communist-bloc nations she was awarded three gold medals and in 1973 and 1974 she became an overall junior champion. Her debut as a Senior in 1975 she beat the Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva, the five-time European champion who won four golds and a silver. In 1976, she won the American Cup at the New York City Olympic Games and became the first woman to ever dismount parallel bars using the double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her path into the entertainment business began during her teens, when she began performing as a figure skater alongside her younger sibling Nina Wayne as part of the traveling entertainment shows called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th day of September, 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol began her career in the entertainment business as a teen. She started her career as a figure skater performing with her younger sister Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around named Ice Capades. It featured dramatic ice-skating shows.
